  Hi All,
The new MPU326 board has been installed in my world cup & i am having some issues.

I have the displays lit up & machine seems to be in some kind of audit mode.
When I switch the machine on the following occurs.

•   Player 1 display reads  ---   02-000 & changes to  00-000
•   Player 2  display reads ---   0000-0

When I set the Auto audit switch to manual (located in the pinball door) & press advance
  the following occurs

•   Player 1 display reads ---      0 2 - - 0 -
•   Player 2 display reads ---      - - - - - 4
•   Machine Will not  play a game.

When I press advance a second time The following occurs

•   Player 1 reads …  00-0- -
•   Player 2 reads      - - - - - 4

The machines Right side flipper is active & so is the top left pop bumper.

I cannot play a game.

The board has the two red led lights on constantly is the board ok?

I have sent the iabove nformation to the board supplier & am waiting for their response.

If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

PS. I would like to personally thank ddstoys for the spinner & decals & everyone else for their ongoing support.

Im sure with your help i will be able to bring this machine back to life.

Cheers Paul

With the original boards it goes into Ausit mode when there are no batteries in the machine if you quickly turn it of then on again the game will start as normal but i cant be sure about your new board but its worth a try

I'd give that a try - if you still have the original boards. Other than that - just wait for Tech support to return your email.

Yep, do what Dan said, Make sure the lithium battery ( looks like a 10cent piece ) is installed and is installed correctly ie: the right way around.

I have just got one of these MPU326 for a Flash and noticed that it would not exit audit mode until  the battery was installed.

I would also check the voltages on your power supply too to make sure they are all correct.

You should have a leaflet supplied with the board that gives the procedure for fitting and setting it up. It gives details about what the flashing led's mean as well as other setup things.

 Thanks all,

We did go through the board check & all seemed ok up until the part where it says "now play your game".

Battery was installed with lettering facing towards me as per instruction.

I will try turning machine off & on quickly.

 Might check battery again too.

If all still fails, Im wondering if i should go back through the board installation procedure & start again?.

It could be that it is not correctly installed or some connectors are loose - double-check it all.

That sounds like a plan, i'll do it as soon as I get home.

Should i turn the machine off before removing & replacing the battery?

 Hi Daniel,

I tryed turning the machine off & on again & had no success.

I haven't checked the battery yet, but i will.
Something i did notice about the battery before the tech installed it was that it looked like it had black criss
crossing lines running accross one of the contacts. This may be crazy but im hoping there may be tape over it
from the manufacturer, I will check when i get home.

Just a question on the battery, if i remove it, do i have to go through the board set up again? Because when first set up, the instructions stated to ensure battery is removed during the set up.
Not sure if this is only the first time you do it?

When you remove the battery id say you will loose everything you have done and will be the same as when you received it.  So id go through the process again.  Also check the battery with a multimeter you never know it might be a dud battery?
