Sorry if this topic has been raised before ,but is KingPin dead ?

Spoke to Kim Today ,and King Pin is on the future production line .They are waiting for the economy to pick up a little and a obviously  more orders to be placed  .
I received an order form as well, which I happily filled in.
Let me know if you have a genuine interest and I can pass on the form .
Great News all-round .

Cheers Tony

The King is dead, live live the Kingpin.

A sensible answer is "Probably". I'm really keen to see it done, but I don't think it's a high probability any more. Consider Gene's age, recent health issues, recent financial issues, the still weak US economy.. .. .. Unlikely, unfortunately.

As it says "We have 122 signed up to buy.. .. .." - I was 2 of those orders, and obviously pretty keen. I would  be surprised though if it does make it into production the way Gene did BBB. Very surprised. This isn't being negative - I was a BBB pre-orderer so I do have the faith. Just think it won't happen unless fully subcontracted out to Stern (and that might not be all that improbable).

Kim seems to be positive at least , it would be nice to rally up more interest to get this over the line .

I think that if anyone is going to build a new Pinball (other that Stern) for production - it can only be IPB. There's a track record to prove it, so I'm HOPING it will be built. This is a positive step.

I am always trying to say positive things about any pinball machine etc, but this machine just looks boring by the look of the playfield.

If they are to come up with something that is going to make you say "WOW", it needs to have the "first impressions last" Bling that Big Bang Bar did.

The colour scheme seems to be drab. Even Ironman and its nice Bright colours says "Buy Me" more than this brochure does.

I dont know why someone hasnt tried to emulate the "big sellers" of the day like a different spin on something like Twilight Zone or something really edgy. I hope it does make it into production for all the Kingpin fans, but it just looks a little drab.  !@#

I just sent a email to Kim to put me on the list if possible. I lost my mom on July 9, she battled liver & intestinal cancer for over 2 years. She was to weak for chemo treatment & she died in her house with my only brother, myself & my wife. That was her wish & she battled with a smile & determination for 2 years.

My condolences, John - Sad to hear.

I think there is still plenty of room on the Kingpin pre order. Unfortunately, I'm not in position to buy a NIB (I prefer projects) - but I look forward to playing this machine.

Out of curiosity, has anyone played this machine?
Just can’t comprehend on those who are going to lay down their money on it.
