Black Hole - Do you dare to enter the Black Hole??
« on: April 05, 2010, 09:10:55 AM »
Ok, this has got to be one of the freakiest mods I've seen. Alan Lewis in the US has pimped out his Black Hole, and recently posted some links on RGP. Not sure what I think of the mods, but he sure put some effort in.

Here's his site and video:

I appreciate the design and effort, but I'm not a fan of "pimping" classic machines. It removes the nostalgia for me.

Can't see that ball getting much grip on the mirrored glass playfield, must make the game play completely different to how it was designed. Looks pretty cool though.

Its a different machine really. I still like it even though an original BH has been lost (who knows may have been a junker anyway).

Certainly an interesting mod/conversion: the owner himself had renamed the machine in the title of the video.

l think the mirrior looks good,, l wonder if it is glued, in places, where you cant see, or just sitting there,,also having the ball drop on the glass like that could be asking for trouble.. like the other guy said,,l will keep mine origional ! have another BH that needs a restor,,, maybe l should do the same.. !!@   na !

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder . Like it or not , there is a serious amount of passion and effort gone it to this beast .
Good job I think . Love the  !!@ factor
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.
