Kings and Queens

Hi Everyone, What madness must have come over me....I purchased a Kings and Queens playfield with the vague idea of building this game from the playfield up. Obviously this is a major task and I'm not even sure if I will be able to pull it off. I'm hoping to pick up a K & Q total wreck, which I could use, or just a head (with or without a backglass). If that's not possible, I'm after a cabinet and all the internals of a 60's Gottlieb wedgehead ... score motor, bank relay, score-reels, wiring etc etc etc. I may have to round all this stuff up separately. Any help with this mamoth task will be greatly appreciated. Mark

Good luck with that.   I was tempted to try get an old Continental Cafe going and i had the fall cabinet just no head would have been a huge job but worth the work till i stripped the playfield and found it had been eaten out.  So i just screwed it to the roof

Hi All, As a place to start I'll need a cabinet and head. K & Q is a 1965 single player Gottlieb wedgehead, so is there anyone out there who has this type of cabinet and/or head for sale? Also, if anyone has any parts for a 60's wedgehead then I'd be interested in hearing from you. As well as the obvious bits like the score motor, relay bank, relays, free game unit and score-reels I'm particularly interested in getting the main wiring 'snake' for this game or one which is similar??? All help or suggestions will be useful and appreciated. Thanks, Mark

the biggest issue will be the bottom board and the wiring - bottom boards are not easy to come buy and are, from my experience, game specific.

unfortunately, buying each part individually may also potentially cost more than a full game, depending on where you can source the parts. A backglass alone will be between $200 - $400 depending on where you source.
