Incredible what people can find on the net, let alone what people think of to solve problems. Hope this works well for those trying to get their monster green. Great find (maybe??)
Still loving my Metallica Premium

Well my kit arrived today and I installed it.

The creature is that dark with the kit installed that you can barely see it.

Have returned it to original, the creature maybe blue but at least he is bright.

My recommendation on these kits is not to bother.

Interesting, the kit has been getting rave reviews in the states. I would like one, but every time I've checked, they've been sold out.

Has anyone tried using the same green LED globe as in this kit and neatly laying green cellophane over the mirror to see if that has the same / or any affect  *!@

To be honest that would provide a similar effect as the green mirror is darker.

My Hologram is Turquoise and getting bluer.
I installed a HALOGEN lamp kit a long time ago.
I think it's necessary to have this much brighter light source with my simple system.
I have just knocked up a translucent green filter (self adhesive green acetate on a clear acrylic plate) about 200mm square. Screwed this to the cabinet base about 150mm from the lamp to avoid heat probs.
Works very well - the hologram is now mostly GREEN!
I guess another layer of green acetate could be applied if more "greening" is desired.

Here you go Wotto . . .
First 3 pics were taken looking towards the rear of the cabinet.
Pic 4 is an overhead view showing distance the green filter is set from the light source.
The green filter simply intervenes between the light source (halogen) and the existing mirror.
There are no other mods necessary.
Pics of the green holographic image aren't done justice by my cheapo camera, so you will have to take my word that there is a marked improvement!
