Bought after playing a few games, but basically it was based on the look / theme. Shallow man aren't I :D

I have owned roughly 15 ish pins and the only pin I purchased after spending time on it was STTNG.
STTNG my nemesis....I played it on location on and off for a year always telling my self I would never own it due to the theme.  (didnt want people to think I was a treky %@#  )

So after 4 years of missing it (moved away from the location) I purchased one and its a "lifer" in the arcade.
To me its the total package pin.

I didnt play a pin from the early 80's up until 2000 when I made my first purchase.  I just wanted something cool in my manroom.

pete, (Popbumperpete)
Believe it or not, I have a twin brother. I had the opportunity to buy 2 x next gens, 2 x star trek 25ths, all in excellent condition, so i would have one of each and my brother could have one. But all machines sit at my place and although i own them all, i like to say my brother will one day take a few back to his house.

The 2 x bugs bunnys came about because they were $1500 ish each, and i thought it was just real eye candy for a pinball machine.

Hooked, re your comment above, i can see why u missed STNG and made it a keeper. I loved it so much I just bought 2 x of them !
re the STNG, when i play either of my STNG's, i reckon it is like driving a large mercedes benz with all the comforts n options that money can buy.
A STNG has the feel of luxury when u play it. I feel, it is one of the proper "Superpins-widebodies" ever made.

Over the next few years, If i can buy another 2 or 3 STNG's to add to my collection, i will.
If i end up having half a dozen Next Gens, it wouldnt bother me in the slightest. I could have them all lined up and have a mini tournament.lol  Just a awesome pin to look at, listen to, and play. !  ^^^ ^^^

Also, my first pin i purchased was a STNG in december 2008. It was the machine that sent me on a 18month, 25 pin buying spree. Imagine what would have happened if my first pin was a real shittyy title. I might have saved a quick hundred grand or more.lol  @.@

STTNG is my most mod'd pin i own.  Rom and Kling ship both halmark...borg ship painted and shuttle reworked.
I installed TC's back decal and made the pop bumper area custom.  Topped it off with chrome rails-lock down and a sub nad its just about done.
oh yea has PBLifes LEDs in all but the GI's.

Just need the sub to finish it off.
