WHAT IS IT WORTH ? INDIANNA JONES
« on: July 17, 2010, 03:00:57 PM »
GUYS ! NEED YA HELP WITH PRICING PLEASE !
What is it worth ?  A project Indianna Jones. Everything appears there. Maybe a few missing/broken plastics.
Machine from a container. Will need cabinet and headbox etc fully redecalled.

What is a project Indianna Worth ?

What would a finished Indianna sittng in someone's collection worth today ? (not redecalled but with faded cabinet etc)

Wondering if the Indianna project is worth anymore than 3 grand cash "as is".

Need ya help guys here on pricing ! Thanks.

OK - not 100% sure its complete.
Decals stuffed
Not known if working

Were this someone ringing me up with these details, id be gambling that its not too much hassle to get her going ( bloody result!)
Then again... could be a bitch to get going and a ton of effort ( what you base your price on)

Given all this... id be offering UNDER $1000.. and like i said.. if its a relatively easy fix, ive had a result

In my humble opinion:

I think for a privateer - an Indy decaled, working sold privately would be $2900 to $3500.
Dealer prices will command a higher price, so I guess they can nudge closer to the $4000.

In 'as is' condition - is a gamble but sometimes will go in the buyers favor...Sometimes not.

There does seem to be a lot of parts for the Indy locally (TPF) - although quite a bit out of stock.  Sight unseen - very tough call to price...I guess the key factor is are all boards present and does the playfield have wear?.

The market seems to be picking up a bit of late and I would probably put it on eBay with as many photos and thorough de-skription (spelt purposely) (including missing parts) at $0.01 start and let the market decide.  You don't see many project Indys go on so would be very interesting to watch.

someone i know has one for sale, but i think 2750 to 3000 absolute tops would pull it up. it seems everything is there and the playfield is excellent.

but there always seems to be lots of indys around, already done up and real nice for around the 3500 to 4 grand mark, fully restored.

thats why i am thinking 2750 to 3000, if my mate wants to sell it for that.  !@# !@#

I think it depends alot on the condition of the playfield;
Shit payfield $2500- new decals added, new plastics added plus a tidy up gives you a $3500 machine.
Good payfield $3000ish- new decals added, new plastics added plus a tidy up gives you a $4000 to $4500 machine. Pimp it up with LEDs, plane mods, arc mod etc. You'd have youself a very nice pin worth $5k easy.
Cheers Gav
