Polishing Pinball Bits
« on: July 31, 2010, 01:15:21 PM »

 Hi all,

Can anyone give me some advise on the best way to polish metal screws, ramps & small pinball parts etc. I was told that tumblers are often used but i am not sure what type of tumbler & media to use. Also does anyone know a good supplier & the best type of tumbler, cost etc.. I would also be interested in the best method for polishing coin doors & side rails.

Cheers Paul.

Most seem to use ones they get from gun shops; apparently walnut media works OK especially if you add some Flitz.

Try the search box and type in tumbler. You will see plenty of threads.

Correct - Gun shops stock them. I bought mine on eBay from South Australia. It is a rebadged Berry - the popular tumber from the USA
