Yes, there are many different strength shooter springs.  You can specifically buy 'high tension' or 'stiff' springs if you really need to give the ball a thump!

Red ones are good I got one for my previous fire power hadenough power to launch the ball bounce off the ball gate and into the top lock will definitely be doing the same to the current one

Yeah thats it red springs. From memory there are brown white green silver blue red.
In order from low tension to high. I think it relates to the diameter of the spring wire.
Thicker wire makes for a stronger spring.
Lets go Brandon!

Have a look at the plunger as well Peter and give it a wipe with your finger, if there is black grimey stuff on it you may find that stripping it down and cleaning it up as well as the sleeve will make a bit of difference.  If it is WH2O you are referring to, I don't think it ever felt quite right ages ago.

Cheer cheer the red and the white................. <.>   $#$

I did not know this about springs. One of my games plungers is way to stiff and I hate it I'm glad there's a solution.

Gorgar1 I found dissasembling the whole thing and giving it a good clean with a new sleeve works a treat.

Something else to look at, check where the plunger rubber is actually striking the ball, you might need to loosen off the nuts inside the cabinet and adjust the whole assembly so that the plunger strikes the centre of the ball.

Just got my Red "high tension" springs and my machines now make all skill shots so worth the very small out-lay.

Thanks guys
