The rebuilding of my collection begins.....
« on: October 22, 2010, 11:50:18 PM »
Most of you know I sold 4 of my DMD's recently and cut back to 2 DMD's.
I was 'making room' as I can only fit 6 games in my house.

Tonight with a massive thanks to Nino game 1 arrives.

I wanted to get back into some older games but didnt want to replicate or buy games I owned before but I still wanted some titles from my youth
This is a game a good mate and I used to play a lot and I have never owned one personally but have enjoyed the game again at recent meets at Rods house.

VERY happy with the condition this is in.
Nino has spent time making it 'electronically' sound for me and I get to do the cosmetics/ touch ups etc.

The backglass is in SERIOUSLY good condition - but like all Hot Hands' the reds are faded.
I have an idea I have wanted to try years ago for restoring backglass colours and this is the perfect candidate.

The playfield needs a good scrub / tidy up.
There is some wear above 2 of the lower cards but I have an idea how to sort that out as well.
All plastics are in great shape.
With flipper rebuilds and general maintenance checks this should end up very sweet.

2 more oldies due in about 2 weeks ( not via Nino ) and hopefully 1 more next year  *)*

Note the High Score (cough)  <.>

I'm always pleased when a machine from yesteryear  becomes part of a collection. I look forward to your restoration - I have a thread somewhere that covers a "custom" flipper rebuild kit for early Sterns.

A real fun title, Stern did some good stuff back then. When you coming down to collect some more games?? ;)
