« on: November 18, 2010, 01:07:25 PM »
Hi gee this is embarrasing but does anyone now the title of this song and all I have is a few words which go "I listen to the radio-its better than the stereo" I think it came out in the late 80's.

Radio

Ha, ho
I found myself these days in total sensuality
Her radio and stereo, yes, all the same to me
One thing is clear, say we all know what we hear
The airwaves don't lie
I listen to the radio, its better than a stereo
We listen to the radio, radio stereo
Telephone is ringing, but, I can hardly hear
Though the man on the end of the line is speaking loud and clear
Somehow my mind is where, where exactly I dont know
Too busy tuning in the dial, portable Radio
I know Im alive, so you can all go ride a bike
The airwaves don't lie
I listen to the radio, its better than the stereo
We listen to the radio, radio stereo
Oh-oh-oh-oh radio, Oh-oh-oh-oh radio
Oh-oh-oh-oh radio
Ha, ho
I know my friends ?..? what's she doin'
Theres too much going on in here
To determine ?....................? happening to me
You could by lyin on a beach in Brighton
While you're dreaming of Saint Tropez
You aint got no money in your pocket, well it dont really matter anyway
Cause I said, I know what I like so you can all go ride a bike
I listen to the radio, its better than the stereo
We listen to the radio, tally-ho off we go
Listen to the radio, dancing to the radio
Listen to the radio, turn it off, let me go
Listen to the radio, dancing to the radio
Listen to the radio, turn it off, let me go
Listen to the radio

If you can't find it........  %$%

Peter: you are sonically challenged, the same as I am...  <.>

I google the words I can remember - and add the word "lyrics" to the search.

Hasn't failed me yet!
Why is it called PMS?
Because "Mad Cow Disease" was already taken...

Not sure how good the quality will be, but you can paste a youtube web address into this site and save the audio track

The Sports are a friggin AWESOME band, class that can only be duplicating by very few bands these days IMO. GREAT band, and music that is now a lost art cause no one is good enough these days to play without a PLASTIC distortion sound which bands hide behind to cover up their bad playing and cover up the 'true' tone of a 'real' guitar. Check out bands like 'the Only Ones', and 'the Act' for a similar style of the Sports, too GOOD and more importantly too COOL.

Hey Brad

Was Red Symons in The Sports - ( no this is not a joke ) - I think he was ( at one point in time  !@# )
Or maybe I just should have shut up after failing the 1st test in this thread and already making a goose of myself  :lol
