TZ yellow light mod
« on: January 10, 2009, 01:49:41 PM »
Unsure where to put this thread so here is as good as any.

Thought I'd share a little mod I made for that yellow light near the mini playfield that seems to just sit there lighting up now and then. I found out it was for the spiral shot so thought I'd incorporate a sign to depict the shot.

Would like to know your thoughts, harsh criticism is ok as well as any other thoughts for improvement or better desgn etc

Looks very nice. Yes TZ is the most pimped out pin, along with STTNG and TAF.

thanks guys for your pluses and negative repsonses. All taken aboard with appreciation. I think I'll make it a keeper on the machine...for at least a while anyway.

And I have to agree the TZ must be the most modified that I know of...look at mine....the piano, the gumball led kit, led's on the playfield...I haven't done the robot, rocket mods as they are real expensive IMO (the one I like anyway), but maybe one day.

I do like the idea of the motorized gold saw kit for the ToM though. Once the AUS dollar picks up I think I might go for it.

The Gold Motorised tigersaw is fantastic.Done it on mine and really finishes up the pin nicely.
My TZ is also really pimped out-got all youve done + Robby the robot(fantastic addition),rocket, red clock, camera, and the Pyramid topper.
Now ive just got to install my 3rd magnet kit and i,m all done,
Cheers

Looks good Rob, took me a while to realise that the original obsure lamp was for the spiral award.
+1 for the motorised tiger saw(TOM)
