EM-Wanted
« on: March 25, 2011, 12:18:43 PM »
I am looking for my first EM and have narrowed down my search to;
Target Alpha
Solar City
Pioneer
Royal Flush
Spirit of 76
Lucky Strike
El Dorado
Gold Strike.
These are my main targets but obviously by my list I prefer Mid 70s Gottlieb and I really like drop-targets so if you have something that isn't in the list but suits then please let me know.
Will be my first EM so I'd like to get one that is fully working in good condition.
Cheers Gav

All the games listed are great "player's" machines. Considering it is a "buyer's" market right now, you should have no trouble tracking one down. I'd be watching eBay as a few titles do appear from time to time.

Spirit of 76 and Pioneer are a VERY common EM. Sof76 is my "all time favorite" EM.
Solar City, Target Alpha, El Dorado and Goldstrike share the same layout (only missing title is Canada Dry). TA would be the most likely machine you would track down. Solar City did appear twice last year on Fleabay.
El Dorado are fairly rare, wedgeheads of this variety don't change hands often.
Royal fFlush - fairly common game. Great layout.

Best of luck with the search  ^^^

Gav, there is a Cardwhiz on Ebay at the moment ( no bids) and its in the Adelaide hills, so hopefully just up the road from you.

Cardwhiz is the 2 player version of Royal Flush and it is a great game to play with its 9 bank drop target. This and Pioneer/Spirit of 76 were my favourite EMs .

Pinball resource have got all new targets and heaps of other parts for this title too, so a full resto job will be a lot easier.
