ANTARES PINBALL BY NORDAMATIC
« on: September 14, 2011, 09:59:44 PM »
Well I toon on this repair for a guy with little hope of getting it going due to it being tho only solid state game ever built by this company  and being unable to find any info I thought I was stuffed.  Finally had a look at it today.

Started by giving the power supply new fuse holders and reflowing all the connectors re seated all the cables just the basics.    Fired it up and the display came on with crap.   Re seated all the chips and bingo it fired into life

Still has plenty of issues but it starts and plays which is a great start

Interesting.. 2 off 5101 RAM on the CPU.
Would have loved to have a stab at those boards... nice simple design and logic

Looks surprisingly neat and tidy, probably not too hard to work out where a problem is if it does go wrong.
