Black Knight - Picked it up for FREE!!

Greetings Everyone,

A lady came into my shop the other day and asked if I still collect pinball machines. She said I could go over and pick up this machine and have it for free. There is no Back glass (please Help  !!!) and it has been in her shed for the past 20 years without a playfiled glass. It was under 5mm of dust which I have vaccuumed off for the photo. I had a quick lookover the boards and they are in ver good condition. I believe replacing a handfull of capacitors and I should be in business.

Wow!! congratulations - score of the year in my opinion.

The playfield dont look too flash as you would expect, but that dont matter if its free.

Be hard getting a backglass, but if you are looking at it as a keeper, then I would certainly consider a new playfield which are available still and Classic Playfields have got a few new second quality ones going out relatively cheap.

i am looking for a system 7 donor ie black knight so i can build a laser cue.if you want to get rid of it i would be interested.damien

I reckon the playfield will come up a treat. The dirt has protected it from the sun etc. Well done mate.  ^^^

* keep us updated with photos. Borrow a backglass from someone and get it scanned at a commercial printer.  ^^^
