haha, well... when he gets back from his holiday, given after his hard 2 months of work... all the people that have waited for him to come back will have a order to put in... it looks like he may be busy when he gets back! %.%

Maybe that's his ploy  %.%

It can also work in reverse as well.

It can but Greg has a great reputation not only in Australia but overseas and has a loyal following so I reckon 99% of customers will wait for his return.

Defiantly needs to state that he is away until a certain date. I thought id bring my business to RTBB for a change but the third day of 'site maintenance' I just took it elsewhere (childs).

A lot of online stores are still taking orders, but they won't be processed until the staff return. I'm more than happy to wait.

Exactly - reminded me of a few years ago when I ordered some stuff this time of year from a well known local parts supplier, only to wait a week to find out they were just back from holidays and the order was not processed, despite the site accepting it.

I'd rather not leave my site open when I take a break it gives the false impression that I'm "HERE" taking care of orders when I'm not,
which I thinks a pretty piss poor way to treat your customers

oh and by the way I'm back %$%

Greg just sorted out my small order in the most accommodating manner after a minor hiccup.
