« on: January 02, 2012, 11:00:28 PM »
As u may have notice I spent the afternoon on the juice and playing Pinballs two of my machines are thriving drain monster.

Worst one is White water second is bride of Pinbot.

All machines are set with the tightest gap but machine seems to such them down there.

Anyone else have machines like this.

Gottlieb King Pin - the outlanes are an absolute killer on this game, I'm guessing 60% or 70% of ball losses as that way.

the right side of a Star Trek Next Generation can be a drain.   Right side also on Black Knight 2000.(i dont use or like magna save and dont use it, feels like cheating to me)

i sometimes think  left side of Star Wars Trilogy. Left side on Tales of the Crypt can be a ball muncher.

quite a few machines can be if you are not up to ya game with 100 percent concentration.  ^^^

Yeah space hawks was a shocker fore drains

its very unforgiving game, but good fun, just cant play it in a bad mood or i get pinball rage lol, it would be worse if it have the side gate after shooting the ramp, but that only saves one ball lol

LH outlane on HS2 is always a drain monster, no rubber to nudge or bounce off.
On the rule sheet of the game someone wrote "The main goal of HS2 is to relight the kickback :) "  :lol

Ive had more than a few 3 ball games on Firepower where Ive not even touched the ball with a flipper,

then you have a blinder a few games later where you Clock the Darn thing!

Thats what I love about pinball their Unpredictable and random  *%*

I have found tho changing the playfield down angle just a little can really change the personality of a game and make them play very different..

Interesting .. I really must be a bad player as I have never even come close to clocking my Firepower (PF angle set at 6.5 degrees)
I need more room ! and more $$$

Would have thought 6.5 getting a bit steep for 28v Flipper coils on a Firepower..

DMD with 50v are set at 6.5...

After lots of experimentation My FP set just under 6 deg and plays pretty well,

doesnt negate the spin on the ball, not too loopy either (when angle is too shallow)

Give 6 deg a try and go from there!
