This WOZ machine is like the hottest girl at school that u always wanted and could never get, and then finally, she says a big YES, but then tells u she will give u a date soon..........arggghhhhhhh ! so close, yet so far.lol
I think he is on the final run now, the man has passion coming out of his ears, and i dont think he is the guy to ever want to let people down.

The Hobbit will be a pearler, Jack is a perfectionist, and WOZ is geting better every week. The reason a 3rd non licenced theme is soo important from Jack, is that no one has done one for ages, so that will get peoples blood pumping and more $$ for JJP.

The question is, will Stern try n beat JJP to a non licenced really cool theme ?
Any suggestions for a non licenced widebody could be really interetsting. Us pinheads love all new ideas.....

Everyone got lucky at school, cause when the lights were turned off, they were all Elle McPherson.lol  %.% %.% %.%

Talking about lights being out, I just watched a video on the RGB lighting JJP is using, dam it is nice. Best lighting I have seen ever.

Our Team has started The Hobbit LE and the game is on track for 2014. We already know that it will have multiple metal ramps, multiple flippers, feature "That Dragon" and be a fast paced game. It's already easier since Joe + Co. can focus on game elements and not drawing thousands of parts that need to be tooled for the first time.

Jeff Busch is drawing the Hobbit LE artwork and the game will incorporate all three movies and we will be able to show some playfield details soon.

We are happy to announce that "Two Steps from Hell" will produce the music for The Hobbit Pinball Machine. Two Steps From Hell, was founded in 2006 by composers Nick Phoenix and Thomas Bergersen. Two Steps can be heard worldwide in the ad campaigns for blockbusters such as "Oz The Great And Powerful", "Harry Potter", Dark Knight", "The Hobbit", "Wolverine", "Skyfall", "Lord Of The Rings", "Spiderman", "Bourne Identity", "Indiana Jones 4" and "Lincoln".

Two Steps From Hell is at the forefront of a new "Epic" music genre and have almost a billion views on YouTube and have 3 top selling albums on iTunes. The first album "Invincible" is about to become a certified Gold record. Their music can also be heard featured in television shows such as "America's Got Talent", "X-Factor" and "The Super Bowl 2013". Nick and Thomas have also worked with Hans Zimmer on two films, Sherlock Holmes 2 and Pirates Of The Caribbean 4. Two Steps From Hell will wrap up the E3 convention this summer with a concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall on June 14. This is their premiere concert and features 130 musicians from around the world.

I really like some of the early information releases of where this game is heading. With that sort of music and the sound system quality it will sound really amazing.

Jack started a thread on the 'private forum' to ask buyers what their top 3 inclusions in the game would be. Another great initiative to get involved in the creative process IMO.
An example of some of the more popular requests:
- Some sort of underplayfield feature such as subways or a lower playfield have been a popular wish list item.
- Multi layered playfields
- Lots of ramps with good flow (Metal, not plastic).
- Ramp Diverters.
- Drop targets.
- Good humour.
- Hidden standup targets (trolls).
- Lots of interactive toys (of course including Smaug).
- etc....

Unfortunately, the last page of comments have been cut off the main thread as the thread became corrupt and unreadable (as reported by Swinks). I'll try to re instate, but at the moment I cannot read the last page I split from the main topic. The initial 8 pages are still on this thread, and I'll see what I can do with the last page and then merge. For now, if any updates need to be posted, they will appear AFTER any messages from the 9th page, so the thread will continue with the correct timestamps.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit - 9th Page reinstated with the exception of the very last post that I've removed.

The following update was released by Jersey Jack late last night (our time):

July 31, 2013

Greetings Pinball Fans,

Today we are happy and very excited to release another section of The Hobbit Limited Edition Pinball Machine playfield. This game will have several new and innovative features which will be detailed in coming weeks.

As of September 1st the price of The Hobbit LE will increase $500 to $8000.00. We ask that you are current on the payment schedule for The Hobbit by 8/31/13. Those who are not current will see a $500 increase in the price of their game after 9/1/13, making their game $8000.

Many people are paying according to the schedule which enables us to develop the game as we did with WOZ. We need to reward those who are loyal and stay on the payment plan while others who do not pay now will pay more later. There may be another price increase before the game goes into production. We have several distributors around the world looking to increase their orders so demand is growing for the game as more information is released.

We will proudly show the full playfield before the end of August. This is going along better than WOZ as much of the basis of the platform is already created.

We are excited to reveal the top right portion of

The Hobbit Pinball Playfield - Click here to view the PDF:

This area shows multiple entrances into the pop bumper area which can be controlled by the game or by skill or luck. We also show one magnet and one spinner and a target above the banana shaped insert. There is a lot in this 25% of the main playfield to absorb. We will release another section of the playfield next week. The playfield is packed and the game is very different than WOZ.

If you missed this in the previous update, click here to view the lower portion of The Hobbit Pinball Playfield:

Wizard of Oz games continue to roll off the line. Getting through the first few days of massive orders has taken time but we are now into group shipments and we have 180+ ECLEWOZ games in the queue for August with only 18 of them as WOZ. We are also expecting another code update in the next several days.

It has been a long road but we got here as fast as we could. We are producing the best game we can which gets better every day. We thank our loyal JJP customer base for their patience and support and we will soon announce a reward system for those loyal customers for parts and goodies at reduced cost.

Jack definitely did not do it alone but that's the name of the AOL segment. If anyone missed this, we were recently featured on an AOL.com/Huffington Post segment called "How I Did It - Here's the link to view - http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/26/jersey-jack-pinball_n_3504566.html

Also, here is a mock-up that pinsider "statsdoc" created showing the pieces of the puzzle so far:

Exciting times!

"We ask that you are current on the payment schedule for The Hobbit by 8/31/13"

WOW - That's a bit rich asking people to pay up front and keep their end of the bargain ?

How about they concentrate on their current delays before asking for pre payments on their next title ?

note that the price increase is about when the first shipment of 4 games gets delivered to Bumper
so very few Australians will get to play WoZ before they decide to buy a Hobbit

Probably because they are pressed for capital due to delays/ gaps in production/ hiring of new production manager (and moving his entire family to Jersey).

A source close to the company spoke about JJP struggling to build games simply due to a lack of income  !@#
