THE MAN WHO STARTED IT ALL JUST CAME LOOKING FOR ME
«

Just had a man ask for me at work heard I could fix games. Turned out he is the owner of the pizza shop where I first Played a pinball and my quest for my holy grail strikes and spares began.
Best news is he still owns the pizza shop and he still owns strikes and spare and it's still going strong
If its at the pizza shop I'll be sure to get some photos

FFS third attempt at this post GRRRRRR
Finally went to look at these games and i couldnt believe it my grail pin still sits in the same corner of the same pizza shop over 20years later... Even better news it still plays 100% and is still only 20c a game.
The whole shop look like it did when i was a kid all the original artwork and even the Graffitti wall are intact with grafitti from kids in the 80s
here are some pics

Wow, that's amazing, how can there be so little wear after being sited for that long? Must be in a quiet location?
Did he say anything about why he has kept it for so long without upgrading, etc.?

Nice Strikes and Spares, lucky that the game has no Graffitti on it after all that time.

Nice to read a story like this one.
I often drive past a couple of old joints and wish they were 'preserved' instead of a damn Subway - so happy for you that you got this experience
