Funhouse out of control absolute madness
« on: August 14, 2012, 09:58:42 PM »
Guys I'm wondering if there are other ways to slow down the pace of a game. My fh is lightning fast with air balls that even had the ball trapped on top of the big clear plastic over the two wire ramps. I get bogus Midnight ball traps when the second ball locked rolls back over the first rollover switch and the game thinks there's 3 balls in the lock. It then releases a ball and reverts back to 11.45 mode when the it finds only one switch active.

The obvious is the incline but it's the same as before the swap and the flippers feel like they are 3 times stronger, so I don't know if incline will be the answer.

Loop shots are all over within a blink and so is my game

Is incline the only solution?

You can de-tune your flippers by increasing the tension of the springs or adjusting the EOS switch so that it cuts in quicker and the flipper gets less full strength power through it. Other option may even be put weaker coils on the flippers.

Did you wax the playfield? I found after putting in the new AFM field that it was impossible to play (much like you describe) if waxed. Now I give it just the lightest waxing from time to time, and even then the first 20 or so games are crazy.
