The week of August 12, 2012 ended with pinball history in the making.
www.papa.org hosted a world competitive pinball tournament, won by Keith Elwin. Second place winner in the "A" open. Joshua Henderson. Joshua also won the Juniors competiion as well. Total weekend wins exceeded $.000 US dollars. This 14 year old player met Aussie pinball players Daniel Robar, Richard, Peter and Chrysanthe at the IFPA tournamnet on Bainbridge Island in Washington. Joshua wants to make sure that the future of pinball, future of collectors includes todays youth as such any future consderations for pinball tournaments include ribbons, trophies and participation with kids. Joshua enjoys playing on Sterns and older Williams games. He owns a Spiderman by Stern and looks forward to getting an AC/DC. He likes older EM's with modified lights and special knocker sound effects to go off and make that noise!!!!!!!!!!!! Josh appreciates playing pinball with anyone and is looking forward to competion at any level. Joshua had to look up the AUSSIE location on the wolrd mapand discovered that getting to the US was done by plane, since no roads lead to Australia. So keep flipping: and we support any pinball expo of any kind to keep the dream alive.
