Mata Hari price range please
« on: November 01, 2012, 10:40:39 PM »
I have a colleague who has expressed an interest in buying a Bally Mata Hari pinball.
As is often the case it is the game that brings back long lost memories of youth for him.
It would be a first pin and he would like one in reasonable, but not necessarily collector, condition.
I've explained to him that pinball ownership is a serious addiction/condition and one is never enough and he has accepted that.
So here is the question or two, I haven't seen one in years (try 20+):
What is a reasonable price for either the EM or SS version in decent condition?
Does anybody have one looking a for a new home or can anybody point us in the direction of one?

I'm also happy to consider a game with some issues but good cosmetics as I'm happy to assist my colleague in getting it into a better state through cleaning, mechanical repairs, sending boards off to the forum repairers etc.
Thanks for any guidance!

I did see one sitting on its back behind some others at PSPA a couple of months ago. I can't comment on the condition as I couldn't get a good enough look at it and obviously wasn't set up to play.
Can't hurt to call and ask if it's still there.

Only 170 EM versions made - would be over $4000 IF you could find one!

SS in working 'player condition' $1500 give or take...

I concur.

I have one in stock, but it is reserved at this point and is eagerly awaiting the CPR playfield.

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. I had given an estimate of around the $1500 to Stephen so I'm glad to see that validated.
He thought that was fair enough, so if any come up in that price range please let me know.
We'll see what is out there!

Cheers
Lindsay
