Strikes and Spares problem

Hi all , turned on my Strikes and Spares today and it didnt fire up. On further investigation noticed the MPU only flashed 3 times (after the initial flicker) What could the problem be ?

U10 PIA or socket is bad. Try re seating this chip - 40 pin IC with the markings 6821. If you get the fourth flash after doing this then the problem will be the socket.

hi, tried to reseat chip today but still only the 3 flashes.  What if anything can I try next?

Looks like the PIA is faulty. You could try reseating all the socketed ICs. Be careful not to touch the legs of U8 as it is prone to static.
