I think if the donor games are way past any hope of restoration, then what he is doing is fine. The quality of his re themes is outstanding. Amazing work.  @@*

A classic like Sky Jump does have backglass and plastic set available, so I would hope the playfield was "too far gone".

It seems sacrilegious to do this, but, his finished product and theme is an absolute testament to his passion of pinball and I think you will agree it is really well done.  ^^^
This is the sort of product I think most restorers would be proud of. I know I would.
I dare say he would be keeping original back glass and play field pieces for future prosperity and not just destroy.
