Thanks for that... do you know how much the gum machine went for?
I was bidding on the Gum machine ,wish I had done some research first ,it sold for $275,not bad for a 100 year old machine ^&^ that can be worth thousands.
The AC/DC was thrashed and far from new condition ,I thought it sold.Very weird playing one like that after unboxing and playing so many brand new ones.
One thing to remember with those prices you need to add %10 buyers premium

Sorry just saw this post, I didn't think the gumball machine was there, What lot number was it ??

I get the idea, that a lot of people went there with money to spend, and upon seeing that the game they really wanted went over their budget, then maybe they settled for something else rather than go home empty handed, thats probably partly why some games went for more than what they were really worth.

But of course if you dont do your own research first then you will be way behind the eight ball!!

Those same people would probably freak out at paying say $5K for a Mediaeval Madness but those of us that know these things would grab it in a heartbeat.

There were a couple of bargains with the redemption games.

The Jumbo crane and skipping rope machine which were big and bulky went for $100 . A couple of slam dunk basketball games went for $550 each.

Dissapointed there were not any lots of bits and pieces or playfields and other parts, maybe Ebay is the way to go for those things now.

On that note, the ubiquitous Lethal Weapon 3 was conspicuously absent.  :lol

Is that a good or bad price for a HRC?

T2's are going for big bickies in Perth at the moment.
One, very nice one, sold recently for 5k.

High Roller Casino is usually a $3300 to $4500 pinny tops, depending on which state it is selling in...condition dependant ofcourse...etc...
(excluding the figures from this auction which were way way overpriced etc) general pinball prices this last month or two around Australia are the LOWEST I have ever seen.

Great for experienced buyers, real bad for the vast majority of sellers...

HR Casino: I am going to say that is overpriced for a Stern HRC and the fact it was passed in at that price was the reason for the hand waving emoticon. It is a C list Stern after all so below $3k is all it is worth.

That Terminator better have a restored playfield in it for that price as well.

High Roller Casino is a $2500 - $2700 machine. I sold mine for $2600 ish to a member and it was in awesome condition. It is not much of a played unless you like the theme. But is is a good looking game.

no way is this game worth $3300. I've never seen one SOLD for more than $3000. sure delears LIST them for $3999, but they are not sold at anywhere near that price. You must be thinking of another game ?

The 8 ball did look nice but if your going to restore a pin why not do it properly ! The orange was like a "glow in the dark" neon colour , backglass was obviously missing the locking bar as it was held in place with two screws in the top corners and the legs where wrong. Maybe good  for someone after a nice looking pin but not for a collector  who prefer these machines more true to original. Thats my two bobs worth anyway.

I was tempted to stay and bid on the HRC (I left before the auction started) as after having a few games, I found I was really enjoying it.
It was a little beat up but should have cleaned up ok.

Agree with you on the 8 Ball, with just a little more effort it would have been perfect.
I'm sure whoever bought it would have been pretty happy though.
