How to score a free pinball...sort of
« on: November 26, 2012, 03:23:21 PM »
Last December I went to NZ to spend Christmas with my inlaws. My other halfs parents didn't know that either of us smoked (we have always hidden it from them as they are strong anti-smokers) so we made the descisssion to give up before we went away.
My missus has been putting away our cirarette money for a year now ($90 each per week) and we now have $4500 each to spend on what we like.
I just brought a new title 2 weeks ago so I'm ok for now but I am cashed up ready to go when the next one comes along.
If your a smoker give it a go. It's a good idea to put the cash aside each week as you see it grow quickly and it gives you great insentive. Your also a lot healthier for your troubles. It' a no brainer really....win win.

Well done! I'm so out of touch with what a packet of fags costs - can't believe how much $$ can be saved.
(Not to mention how healthier you must be)
Wanted: GTB Aquarius backglass. Any playfield bits and backglasses from any EMs - nothing is junk to me.

You won't get any healthier - ever.  Once the damage is done, the damage is done.

Your general health will actually improve, read following points:
http://www.nhs.uk/nosmoke/Pages/Redirect.aspx
I quit in 2000 and I can run a marathon race which was impossible while I smoked.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,
