Detailed parts list for space invaders pinball
« on: January 13, 2013, 06:55:39 PM »
I'm wanting to purchase a complete set of globe holders and was wondering if someone is aware of a detailed parts list floating about. I get tired of buying the wrong types etc eventhough they may look very similar. Seeing I need several it would be great to confirm the part numbers.

Thanks in advance

I have the relevant Bally Parts catalouge and it does not go into the detail you want
But it may be of help in the future;

Using Pete's fantastic link - here's the info you are after. It does not list the quantity of the different types.

http://www.planetarypinball.com/reference/partsmanuals/BLY_Parts_1980/index.html#/66/

If you are looking at playfield lamps, then these are the three predominant types ;

A-2915

A-2916

A-4762

You can see on Greg's site that the original Bally numbers are also listed.

Thank you very much guys, at least I know which ones to order and will lift the pf and do some counting. For the backglass I'm assuming the flat style is what I'm looking at on top of the other 3 styles.

Again thanks. I have a shit load of spare parts that don't suit because in the past I went buy the photos and not part numbers and when I got my orders they were of no use. So you guys have saved me some money and wasted storage space  @@*

Rob,

Have you got the correct air staple gun for doing this?  If the playfield is out, feel free to pop over and you can use mine (with the compressor), or if you're in a pinch borrow mine and use with your son's compressor?

No I don't mate. Thanks for the offer and will most definitely take you up on the offer. The pf needs a little touching up that I will do soon via air brushing and also need to order the braid wire too. Once done I'll be in touch. Thanks mate.
