After finally getting to play an X-Men pro today i actually walked away glad i bought Tron. And i thought that i enjoyed Iron Man more than X-Men.

The beauty of re-runs is at least you have had the chance to play the game to know its a keeper. Which for me was Tron.

I would be very interested in a re-run of Iron Man but i am quite sure the missus would kill me.  %.%

Do they still have the licence to make Ironman?
I would imagine if they can use the image of iron man on the avengers, then why not?

I would think a Avengers licence and another stand alone IM licence would be two totally different things.
If not that would mean that Stern got the stand alone pinball rights to all the Avengers characters with the Avengers pin licence, I doubt that would have happened.

She would then sell your collection?
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

I think X-men is much better than both Tron and IM but having said that I wouldn't mind a Tron in the house either.
Some cheap 2nd hand 3d Trons around atm so it could be an option.

Haha, i have bought a couple of pins lately so it is definitely her turn for something nice. Gotta take it in turns, so if i suggest buying another NIB....Dead man walking. But as you suggested could be some pins going up for sale..... :lol

It was ok, but the theme i could not get into. Storm's voice drove me absolutely crazy and i thought Magneto was a touch over the top as well. The rest were good though. Seemed like a forgiving game as ball times were long and i actually got the 2nd highest score on my first game. I did like the ramps but as alot of people have said the figures are way too big. But as they say if we all liked the same thing....... ()

I've never played a IM or Tron but I've played around 6 or 7 games on X-Men LE and a similar number on the Pro and really love it. If IM is anywhere near as good as X-Men then I really look forward to havering a game on one. I hope they redo this one as I couldn't give a hoot about LOTR.

I wouldn't personally buy one, but would like to see Iron Man get re-made to get the numbers out there. I'd now like to play one (first played it at Bumper on release, but can't remember how it played) and wouldn't know where to go for that to be possible at the moment. I think that re-runs of Pro models are good things because it gets more pinball machines into homes. I don't see buying a Pro machine as an investment and don't get why people want their numbers to stay scarce. Different story for LE, but I can't see Stern hurting their LE buyers by reproducing LE machines. I think the addition of an alternate translite is a great idea to keep the machines different in some ways. Should keep everyone happy.

Cheers!
Adam.

on Stern's facebook is a link to IM 3 movie, could be just a dead end teaser or they could be planning something - all the hard work is down.

[ Invalid YouTube link ]

that would annoy some people 3 super heros' in a row  ^.^ ^.^ ^.^ %.% %.% %.% would allow others to save up for the next pin. If they were smart they would do a Premium Release with all the trim right when the movie was being released and ride the coat tales with a limited 500 run with a different Trnaslite.

Build it and they will come !

Re-runs are proving popular, as is anything super-hero. Maybe its just the big kid in all of us that likes the super hero theme.
It certainly has been a good selling theme for Stern. If it works, can it and clone it. If people are buying, keep making them.

What other super hero themes could be on the way ? >>>  Superman !  The new movie is being released very soon with a second movie for 2014.
Who thinks a Superman pinball is on the cards ??
