Very nice job!

Every machine should be so lucky as to have a restore of this caliber. It doesn't have to be the top of the line, cookie cutter titles only to justify the work. Someone will love it, and it won't end up in a landfill somewhere. History should, after all, be preserved!

I'm going to read up on your zinc plating process, and determine if that's something I can do in my shop.

Thats exactly right, John. The game is no El Dorado or King Pin, but I enjoyed every aspect of this restoration. Lots of practice with Zinc Plating, spray painting, air brushing, clearcoating etc etc. Like you mentioned, I don't care what the title is, is could be a "Holy Grail" to someone, and that's where I want it to end up - in someone's collection to be enjoyed.

The "home plating" is fiddly work, and only suitable for smaller parts. But in time, it is a lot cheaper than having these smaller (and sometimes unobtainable) parts lost in a professional plater's shop  :D
