Title: Flipper power supply

Hey guys,



So i cant get my flipper to work I have an ATX PC power supply and a +48v 3.2A SMP supply (Switch Mode Power).

I am tring to run two FL-17636 flipper but the switch mode seems to cut out I am unable to get any schematics to this machine seeing as its Home built.

so schematics or any help would be GREAT.

can you post some pics of the boards so i can work out what type of system it is?

Beaky is right - more details please.

It is my guess that the ATX supply is unable to handle the high surge current when the flipper colis energise?? They  will draw as much as 20 amps initially and I am guessing your PC supply is shutting down because of that??

Has this setup EVER worked or are you putting it together for the first time???

Hopefully you are using the
+48v 3.2A SMP supply (Switch Mode Power).
for the flippers.

Is 3.2 amps enough?  I believe the one i"m using is 7amps. (probably but too lazt to look up)

Make sure the neg is wired.

Mine has tested fine with a simple switch Mosfet set up, aurdino and some resistors.
