update. i bit the bullet and powered this thing up today...

there's nothing wrong with it! played about 10 games for a HS of 80K. a few globes to replace and a couple of rubbers but working a treat. the guy told me it wouldn't start games but maybe gav was right and he didn't put credits on it??

one question for the EM guys, the 10's digit on the score reels a little sticky, sometimes only half way down and takes a couple of seconds longer than the others to reset, but does always reset. what should i be looking for to fix?

can't wait to shop this thing out (have got plenty of tips from the jacks open thread thnx) thanks again ford. cheers!

I think that the score reel plungers are dirty and will need a clean - especially if they have been lubed !

sometimes - You just need to "play it" for a while and it will fix itself (if the problem is not as described above)
