Good to hear the upgrade cable came in handy after all.

Should make the display 'bullet-proof' for a good few years now. ^^^

I paid the cost of my order in postage from Pinball Life, but man would I be annoyed if I got to tonight and didn't have that upgrade cable in my toolkit. It would be a case of "WHY ISN'T MY DMD WORKING AGAIN!!!???" Then people replying saying that maybe pinball isn't the hobby for me. I'm also thankful I ordered a spare upgrade cable for the future. Maybe one day I'll get my own Sega machine with large DMD....maybe.

The 5V connector on the DMD controller board seemed really loose when I took the old one off (the new one was tighter when I installed it). Is this where it fails or something else in the chain?

Cheers!
Adam.
