The powerball is approximately 25% lighter.
Power ball weighs 64 grams
Steel ball weighs 82 grams
I was told my powerball is original when I purchased pin, and I believe that to be true looking at the condition of the ball.
Original powerballs go a pearlesent shade as they get older, compared to reproductions which tend to go a grey colour.
