My red top lifter from Machinery House lost its gas pressure while lifting a 1989 machine... now if I want to lift anything and keep it there, I have to chock a piece of wood into the base to prevent any loss of height
They are hydraulic not gas, have you checked the oil level or adjusted the stop valve?
