I sat with Norm and his daughter for an hour or so at expo in October and although he looked really really sick, (he couldn't move much more than one arm and his half his face) he still had his full faculties mentally (Although he had difficulty speaking) and was very very nice. We discussed his designs and his passion was still there and he really loved that people were appreciative today of his designs. It was a suprise to most that he even made Expo and I think we all knew we would not be seeing him again. A real towering force in pin has now gone. I think he was 85 or 86.
