Nah, I think it will struggle to get past $4K - there has to be a couple of highly motivated buyers to push it past that, and I don't see it happening. The photos don't really do it justice by the sound of it, either.
You'd have to ask why - sure the guy is dead, but it didn't turn a lame game into a classic!
Yes, they don't seem that rare with 14,000 made. Maybe they are rare in Australia, but nevertheless for that money you would want a good player. I guess there are some fans out there pushing prices up.
