I have found that I get more enjoyment out of fixing up cheaper games than I do from playing the more expensive titles
Bingo! I have found the same thing. The more I had to do to a game to make it right the more I seem to enjoy the resultant game.
I agree, i bought a DMD and have had to do nothing to it,although it is nice to have one machine that keeps on going.

what am i after,i am waiting for my next project machine to come along (still have a Xenon to start restoring).
