Personally - These machines should be treated with a bit of respect and belting them around achieves absolutely nothing as you are playing them for free anyway.
Wrong Nino, I have watched a good pinball player for eg, Dan the man where a clever nudge or push at the right time can save a drain or even prepare for a clever shot at a ramp or target.
People that dont like there pins being shook remind me of guys that buy 4 wheel drives and never let them enter a bush track or ever go off road because there scared it may damage them. 
If anyone treated my machines by thumping and tilting them they would be shown the door. No, you don't need to wear white gloves to play my games
