How did you put the red on - was it a stencil?
Reason I ask is when you look hard at your pics of the 25th you can see what look like pencil guide lines for the red circles?  Are these used just to position the stencil or did you freehand them?

Gday Dave ..

It looks in Red in the photo's cause they are taken at night with a flash but in fact it is more of a very dark orange .
I used the Millsy method ..can't find the link to wher he documented it but here is how
1. Trace original artwork onto greaseproof paper
2. Place tracing on cardboard and go over lines with ballpoint pen (leaves imprint on cardboard)
3. Go over imprint with pencil (or pen)
4. Cut out areas where colour 2 and 3 need to be applied.
5. Important.. measure on original artwork a few key points to be able to lineup cardboard stencil correctly
6. After sanding and priiming cab, anhd applying base colour, tape cardboard stencil to sides
7. Trace around outllines of artwork for colour 2 and 3.
8. Place clear contact on whole side of cabinet
9. Carefully score/cut the shapes for colour 2 and remove
10. Apply primer/sealer over the cutout areas , especially on the edges (to minimise/elimate paint bleed)
11. Apply colour 2 (2 coats)
12. Remove contact.
13. Repeat steps 8 thru 12 for colour 3

It is a lot of work but the result is worth it.
I need more room ! and more $$$
