I recently "had" to buy from Marco as they were the only mob that carried the WCS94 Soccer ball. The shipping for this order was over US$100, which is a complete rip off, but I had no choice. The package went "missing" at their end for 3 weeks. Not only do we pay too much from them, they don't track their packages once they leave the USA.
Eventually, the package arrived. It was crushed and had a hole on the bottom I could fit my hand in. The box itself was massive. The parts I ordered could have fit into a box 1/5th of the size. It was full of packing. I removed the parts, and weighed JUST the box and packing and it was 5.5 lbs. The total weight was 12 LBs - nearly HALF the weight was packing.
I sent an email complaining - no response. Marco is a "last resort" vendor for me. I cannot work out how they do business.
I can get a large flat rate box from PBR up to 20 lbs for less than US$70 inc handling and insurance.
