so why not edit that post, or ask the member to kindly rephrase what was written.

Because AP has been lucky to have very few people who write posts that need to be re-written, because the mods here don't re-write other people's posts - I've seen that done and it aint pretty, because the mods here have lives and don't want members that have to be requested time and time again to re-write posts. On the whole we have been very lucky in not attracting the trouble makers.
