Raised Playfield Inserts
« on: November 15, 2010, 12:56:49 PM »
Ok getting more comfortable with my Getaway after cleaning it and installing some LED's (Comfortable does not = confident). Have not fully stripped it down yet, but have removed some plastics etc etc..

Anyway I noticed a couple of inserts are seriously raised and was wondering how to fix this?

all suggestions gratefully received.

You could try heating it up from underneath with a hair dryer and gently tapping it back into place with a flat block of wood

+1. The glue seems to soften with heat. You can use a nice smooth block on the playfield, and tap that with a hammer until level.

Thanks will borrow the hairdryer on the weekend then.

Did not think it would be too hard but wanted to at least ask first.

Cheers $!&
