« on: July 17, 2010, 10:34:43 PM »
just wondering what a project next gen is worth.

photos are on this threadhttp://aussiepinball.com/index.php?topic=4853.0
minor repair needed on display driver, display needs replacing, no lockdown bar, some optos need repairs, good translite.

was sold as not working but only need a few minor repairs to get it going.

playfield in very good condition (no wear marks).

ramps seem fine

needs new plastics

Depends.

Playfield has no wear - how are the ramps ? Are the typical plastics broken ? Boards in working condition ? It needs a new display ($200), Lockdown Bars are cheap ($65). I guess if you are buying it from your description - $2000-$2300.

Now you need to factor in your time and parts to get it to a standard you like.

remember that one that markc got off ebay for $1,850 a few months ago

I'd say $1,900 to $2,200 based on the condition.

You guys who have listed prices, are pretty spot on.    (2000 to 2500 this month.)

the funny thing about widebodies, is that when ya want one there are none around, and when you dont want one, you see 2 or 3 sit on ebay for the 2500 and not sell ?

I remember 12 to 18 months ago, you couldnt find a next gen for under 4000 to 4500.

But more n more containers have come in making the prices drop.

I have 2 next gens, One owes me 3500, the other owes me 4000.

If i can find another Next Gen for 2000 or 2500, and it has a nice playfield, I would grab it, why not !  ^^^

It will allways be a desirable/wanted pin because of theme. I am not grabbed by nuts with it for gameplay, but at 2500 I would buy it because I loved the show.
