Stern sound problem

Need help here please, having problems, no sound from stern 300 sound card.

Mpu boot up and play, once you connect the sound card by the ribbon cables, MPU wont start at all, just a quick flash.

Have check the cable by buzz each end with meter. two break there which I have repair and all good.

Check the T/Points on the sound card, all good.

So what next, ideas please. !@#

No 100% sure on these so wait for others replies there is no CPU on the sound board it uses the MPU to run the board so if there is a fault on the board it will lock up the MPU

  Here is a link to a good sight I've found on the stern 100 board might give u an idea where to start

Make sure pin 1 on the sound board is pin 1 on the MPU. What you are describing sounds like the cable is installed incorrectly.

Except he says there are the correct voltages at the test points.  The easiest way to narrow down the problem is to have a known working soundboard on hand...
