Classic Playfield Reproductions
« on: February 06, 2013, 09:07:16 PM »
Hi,

I placed my first order for a couple of back glasses from CPR yesterday but have received any confirmation from them that they have received my order or money as yet. Is this normal for them or would they normally send you an email once you order? PayPal shows the money sent and I sent them an email this morning to make sure they received it but no response as yet. Can anyone tell me what there normal process is? Thanks.

From my experience, the process is that you pay them via paypal, and then when the item is picked up by UPS, you will receive and email with tracking info.

I think they are flat out, as my emails are not being answered and I've got playfields and backglasses on order.

My experience is communication is poor but service is good!  You will get an email once it is sent with a tracking number.

Fear not, it will arrive...

Hi.
I recently bought a plastic set from CPR. I got no emails or receipt (from CPR or paypal) or tracking info.
The set arrived about 2 weeks later.
They were packaged very well

As said above, great products, just no communication

It makes you wonder doesn't it. At least it all turned up I guess that's the main thing.

I just want to ensure anyone buying from CPR ( or having intent to buy ) - They are a professional outfit and every product you order will arrive and exceed your expectations. I've ordered and recieved 11 playfields, 20 plastics sets and 4 backglasses. No issues whatsoever.

You order via paypal - which is your receipt, and within 4-5 days you will have received your paypal / UPS tracking email.

I've just ordered my Mata Hari playfield and I will simply forget about it until it arrives late next week or early in the following.

Hey guys, I didn't end up receiving any correspondence including from UPS tracking but both backglasses turned up today safe and sound. There was a small amount of crushing on one corner of the box but they are so well packaged that there was no issue with the glasses. Very happy!  ^^^

A couple of pics. Not the greatest photos but they look very nice in the flesh.

Nice !

I still can't understand why there is so much purple in the Fathom. All three of my backglasses are not as "dark". But they still look great. Better than a faded or peeling glass !

My favourite part of a pinball is the backglass. If the backglass is pretty ordinary looking, theres a big chance i won't want to own the game. One that comes to mind and may offend some is Tales from the Crypt. Heard is a great player but due to its look i don't even bother playing it. My loss No doubt  &^&

I tend to agree.when ever I think of bad translite art I always think of World Cup Soccer with that dog on it. It put me off the game altogether. Lately though I had the opportunity for a few games on one and its a very fun game and I liked it a lot.  I guess you don't look at the translite while your playing do you.  This would be a good candidate for an alternate translite IMHO.
