Avengers has annoying design issues - hulk inserts don't line up with their targets & outlanes & their inserts are blocked from view

True and after three days with Hulk LE these issues are my only gripe. I notice them less now as I have learned all the various shots.
Still not OK with the LOKI lights. I hate leaning forward to check the two inlanes.
Despite these flaws, game is very addictive.

Chalk and cheese...SM all day long.

One of the best stern games made.

SM is steve ritchies finest game by a mile, fast with great flow and excellent code.

Avengers is still in it's infancy and is a ok game with ok code, that may get better over time but still has many many bugs to fix first and it is very doubtfull it will ever reach the heights that SM has attained.

I played a Spiderman, it was Home use only, and it put me to sleep. It didnt have any special angles, or anything special going for it at all. It felt like alot of other basic DMD games i have played, but it just had a nice red cabinet n colours etc.

Compared to Avengers, which was deeper in that the shots were harder, required some really weird angles, and Avengers didnt feel like anything else before it. The one thing I cant understand about Spiderman, is that almost 100 percent of the people i know who have had one, have sold it out of their line up, then they say later they want one again. If it was soo good, why do people keep moving them on ?

Dont get me wrong, SM isnt a bad game, I just cant see it as being a great game. Good yes, great, mmmm NO.
Lets see how Avengers holds up over the next year or two. !@#

I can not comment on SM as I never played. I respect Ritchie and Sheats and their notable achievements in pinball.
Not sure about Avengers having many many bugs? Playing 1.4 seems to be fine to me.
Well Hulk did say to me the other day that I was weak and no match for him at the end of the game. I managed to get Grand Champion with 248 million. If that is a bug in the code, I can live with that.

Yes it looks like I do have to play them. I will have to try and get to AMD so I can play the Avengers but I don't want to go in there and just play it then say "thanks, bye". I feel really bad to do that and then not buy it.

I hope I can get to play spiderman first. #@#

Mate . Get up to Pizza n Pinball at Broadmeadow ( Newcastle ) . They have a Spiderman Black and a Hulk Avengers LE in the line up . Good chance to see / play both in the one location .

Play them both and you will see there is no comparison, SM is far superior.

You will not only be playing/buying a better pinball machine with much better shots and flow than most other games but the game will be true to theme, have more clearcoat on the pf, bulbs wont be falling out of sockets while you play, balls wont get stuck behind poorly designed toys and it will have a completed code that is proven as one of the best ever.

Thanks everyone for your help ^^^.
SM is looking like the pin I will get, but......... I do agree that I have to play it first.

Pizza n Pinball is just a bit to far away for me to go and test SM.
I need to convince my wife that there is something else to do in Newcastle so I can go &&
Looking for The Simpsons Pinball Party and Dungeons and Dragons.

Does anyone know if there is a SM and Avengers in Canberra or a SM in Sydney that I can try? As they are closer to me than newcastle is? There are more shopping options at these places for me to leave the wife and kids whilst I play pinball  #@#
