STTNG video - Borg Attack
« on: March 10, 2013, 01:06:55 PM »
Just trying my first video upload onto youtube. LED'd out my next gen, and got my son to video on iphone during a borg attack. Playing with next gen "black balls" with the emblem on them - not too off putting but intersting to see all the spin on these suckers which you don't see with normal balls.

&feature=youtu.be

Just had a look at the link - such poor quality it's hard to see anything! I'll have to keep playign with the upload settings to make it better. Any advice? !@#

Couldn't see the balls so well, but the colour DMD and leds looks amazing.

1. There's a setting on the youtube vid to increase the quality to 1080p HD but it all depends on what definition settings it was filmed in originally - the adage garbage in, garbage out typically holds true.

Got this?

2. Take the playfield glass off when filming.

Love the ColorDMD, though.  ^^^

Thanks for that. Uploading the app now.

The clip looks fine on my computer. I'll see if I can change the upload settings.

Yep, the DMD and LED makes a big differnece. Apparently TZ is next, so I probably won't sell it as it'll be too good looking then!

PS why has everyone suddenly changed thier avatars?

Tried a short upload via the app as suggested. Still looks like crap, even glass off. iphone is not HD, but certainly looks better on the monitor of the computer than when uploaded. I'll keep playing around.

That vid looks good. The TZ one was just to try out the app. Hard to get a good vid of playing the machine from a distance. And never know when a good game is about to happen!

Very nice! If I end up with one of these, it'll be the machine I do my first LED conversion on.
