Announce Whitewater Foil Topper Decal Reproduction
« on: May 13, 2013, 07:27:41 AM »
Twisted Pins is pleased to announce that we have released a Whitewater foil topper that is approved and available under the PPS license.

As you may know this topper has never been reproduced by anybody. Our topper decal is made the exact same way Williams made it. The topper is printed using a 4-color process over white and embossed artwork using .010 foil stock. These are not paper thin decals or printed by an inkjet printer or next generation technology.

There is a 30 day pre-sale starting on Wednesday 5/15 at 8:00am MST and ending on 6/14. Our website address is http://www.twistedpins.com. We will be offering this in two versions. The first version is the decal attached to the white topper. The second version is the decal w/ topper and also the clear tub that sits over the topper. The decal is not available without the topper.

Pricing for the pre-sale will be as follows:

Decal+Topper Support $179
Decal+Topper+Clear Tub $219

This is excellent news.  Any idea what shipping will cost to Australia?

Good news for those with missing toppers.  I am very surprised that you guys were able to reconstruct the design, looks like a lot of work with the embossed foil.
How did you recreate the detail on the foil?
Does it get pressed once attached to the cardstock before printing?

Well done and also an excellent price IMO.

For those missing the driver board as well as the topper I am re-creating this board.

To get the embossing done they would of had to get a die made up which is where all other attempts have fallen down.  Big expense to get a die handmade, if you could find someone to actually do it.  That was the whole problem to start with, the original die was lost somewhere along the line so we have been waiting until now for repro toppers.

I dare say these are going to be pretty popular as those with and without toppers snap them up.
