Hi from the Gold Coast
« on: August 09, 2013, 07:46:34 PM »
Dan here, a 35 year old electrician from the Gold Coast, I have being the reading the forum for a few weeks now and thought I'd introduce myself. Loved playing pinnies as a kid in the 80's and 90's but didn't have much of an idea how to play them until I played STNG in the cafeteria of the local TAFE during my apprenticeship. It was then I developed the overwhelming urge to open the coin door to find out what the hell was going on with the balls under the playfield. When I could afford it I bought 2 machines Super Mario Bros. and STNG. Sold these after a few years after much fun for a reason I can't remember now. Now with the kids being a bit older I have acquired 2 machines, WCS94 and TAF. The Addams Family machine is at the moment in a lot of pieces with the playfield with Tim, Hot Rodded Pins to be refurbished. Trying to figure out now how far to take the rest of the machine. I will most likely spend most of the time in the technical and restoration sections of this forum.
