Is this the going rate for these now? !!!
Plus I've been looking for quite a while and have never seen one go at 25k. Fact or total BS !@#

Not at 15k I don't.  That's 4 or 5 decent williams/bally/DE pins at that price.

see pic 7 from the gumtree ad supposedly showing the proof of a 25,000 sale - now note the number of the machine #201 (when they only made 200 LTBR)
http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/nib-acdc-ltbr-201-25000

here is the second thread from the same "seller" on pinside a 25,000 BIBLE number 301 (only made 300).
http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/nib-acdc-bible-301

The 25,000 is not a genuine sale and was a joke thread from pinside.

On a serious note, if you are looking for a benchmark valuation there was a HUO LTBR on ebay AU 4 months ago for 9750 which received no bids.

here is pinpedia's records of AC/DC sales, interesting that they reckon one sold last year for around $17 - problem 2 mates buying off each other but that would cost you in fees ????

I call bs on the 25 k sale and I also call bs on the price of this pin at 15k. No way in the world this pin is worth that, nib or otherwise.

Someone is just looking to make a easy buck off an equally easy sucker.

Great detective work there. Some of the "claims" made by sellers these days are really stupid. People don't fall for that crap anymore !

Here you go for an example, noj472.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ACDC-Let-there-be-Rock-number-074-of-only-200-made-Pinball-Machine-/190994185013?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=oFhiWvCKOg2m1HAgubax5g1YhXY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Sold for below 10k since BIN at 10k was not used but instead an offer was accepted.

Somewhere in the mid 9k range wouldn't be too far off the mark. Not that amazing considering they were 9250 retail in Aus.

+1

Excellent detective work. It's eased my doubts about the listing and it's asking price. I have plenty of time up my sleeve for the right machine to come along and
make the bank balance a little healthier. This forum never ceases to amaze me with it's wealth of experience and info......thanks all ^^^

One on eBay for 10k, more realistic pricing
